This is a line from a song that King David wrote. This statement expresses how precious it is that God is approachable. God is a real counterpart, who yearns for an intimate relationship with us.
He has put the desire for everlasting acceptance and love in our hearts. There are many offers and possibilities we can try to use to satisfy this longing. But it is only in the presence of the eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth, that our hearts find peace.

The longing remains the same throughout the years. God’s offer to fulfill our longings does too.
