Observing Progress

Happiness, pride, and joy take hold of us when we watch our child when it learns something new. 

Our son started to crawl. Is our apartment safe? Fantastic feelings arise when we see how he makes small progress every day, discovers his environment and becomes more independent. 

I happen to think about how God feels when he watches his beloved child. Every day, I take small steps, discover grace, seek reconciliation and give love. Sometimes, I fail completely. With his helping hand, I get up again. We as parents also help our son out of some miserable and “funny” situations. 

Those who trust God can trust in his help!
